European Vacation

It's our last day in London today, as tomorrow we are catching the train up to Edinburgh. We spent a lot of our time in London attending the cities famous gallery's and museums. The highlight for mine was the Tate Modern, but the National Gallery was pretty damn mind blowing. The weather this week has been nice, so we've spent a few afternoons lazing in Hyde and Regents Parks.
We also had the pleasure of a day trip to oxford. We spent the day walking the streets and gazing at beautiful buildings, which the whole town was made up of. The college buildings surrounding the town were particularly breathtaking. Across the road from Christchurch college, Lewis Carroll's alma mater, was Alice's Shop. Which was housed in a store that was supposedly featured in through the looking glass. As you could imagine, the town is steeped in history, it boggles the mind to think of the many greats who are former students of oxford.
'Til next time,
